Diesel Trouble Codes publishes plain-English diagnostic guides for common diesel engine fault codes and symptoms, starting with Ford’s 6.7L Power Stroke and expanding to Cummins, Duramax, and medium-duty platforms.
How the guides are made
Each guide is compiled from manufacturer service information, published diagnostic standards (SAE J1939, OBD-II), and the consensus of experienced diesel technicians, then reviewed for technical accuracy before publication. Sources are cited on each page. Guides are updated as new information becomes available.
What we don’t cover
- Emissions-system deletes or defeat devices
- Step-by-step procedures for safety-critical systems where a mistake could cause injury (we describe how to diagnose those, not how to repair them)
